I really enjoyed this book I have not read all the books in this series but I really enjoyed reading this book I think this is the first book I have read from this Author hope to be reading more books from her Great Read.

Great book. Looks can be deceiving and a person's public persona not the real deal. Kept me on tenterhooks until the end!

It's hard to let go. Especially when you love someone. After Jonah leaves the community, Miriam feels domed to spinsterhood. In Miriam's world a woman prepares her whole life to become a wife and mother. Then she meets twin brothers, Abram and David. Twins, but as different as night and day. Miriam knows her parents expect her to marry, especially when the young man interested in her is as upright and pious as Abram. But this may be the biggest mistake of her life. People are not always what they seem on the surface. I would like to see more character development and more doing rather than just telling what a person is thinking. The uniqueness of the Amish way of life does not stand out in this book as it does in other Amish romances I've read. But I enjoyed reading The Anxious Bride and being introduced to Sandra's writing.
5 starsI received a free copy of The Anxious Bride: Amish Countryside Book 25 by Sandra Becker and this review was given freely. Best friends,Miriam and Heather, are faced with the dilemmas of faith and love versus tradition and community expectations. Miriam struggles with the loss of her best friend and first love but then must decide between twins who are different than the facades they show the community. Heather's Faith, love, and standing in the community are challenged when she becomes involved with an Englisher. This is a well written sweet romance containing attraction, rivalry, soul searching and blackmail all culminating in two happy endings.
If you're looking for a read that draws you in from the first page, congratulations my friends you've found it. Sandra once again shows how dynamic her imagination can be. With realistic characters and scenes so vividly detailed its no wonder she's such a great author. Unexpected surprises and twists that hold you captive until the last word. I enjoyed following the characters as their personalities transformed and blended. You think you have the plot figured out, but with every description the future is unpredictable. Great job Sandra and thanks for sharing.I received an ARC copy for this story.
