If you go casino gambling at all, you need to read this book. It spells out, in plain English (not legalese) what your rights are and what you can and should do if you are involved in any dispute with casino management. Specific cases are detailed where players have been mistreated by casinos, and what the outcomes of the cases are. Mr. Nersesian is a successful attorney in Las Vegas, and has represented numerous players who have been subject to illegal treatment.
The only flaw is that the book ended. I wish that there had been more anecdotal experiences about the cases that he had worked on. Unfortunately, the bottom line seems to be not to get caught by a casino (especially not by an Indian casino) being an advantage player, nor get caught by the police with a lot of money. There is a lot of great information and lots of endnotes if anyone wants to do more research.
This guy is who I want to be "when I grow up". He's a legal genius and I've read both this and his earlier book (Beat the Players). Great book for gamblers (or in my case: attorney who want to represent gamblers!).
Great book. A must read for the Advantage Player.
This is an excellent and understandable general interest book on gambling law. All advantage players, lawyers for advantage players, and those just interested in the casino industry should read it.Nersesian avoids jargon and has a nice breezy style that educates and entertains.If you want to understand the law that applies to casinos and their victims, this book is a great place to start.
Informative and entertaining book.
Outstanding book. A must read for all advantage players. Actually, all gamblers should read it,find out how the deck is stacked against you, and learn the lengths casinos go to, to separate you from your money.
Good info for advantage players, but legal terminology made it a little difficult.
