The planes were pretty easy to fold, although only a couple flew well. I build a lot of paper airplanes and I normally seek out pretty good designs, so to me the planes did not seem too great. (Dictated by my 6/12 old son).

We need to keep praying for the long-haul.This challenges becomes real for many as they lament the life-wounding decisions their Millennial children and grandchildren have made and are making. However, Daniel's encouragement to us is to never give up and keep praying for them. When we are like Daniel in our prayers, God can make Daniel out of the Millennials that we are mentoring, coaching and discipling.

At the beginning there was a lot of repetition. Then at the 40 percent level of my Kindle Fire I felt literally "slapped in the face to wake up and read" . From that point on I was enthralled with the wisdom and clearly God's message through this book. Everyone who reads this book will see themselves. Sometimes good sometimes not!

I believe this is a must read for every Christian. Anne takes the reader through effective prayer step by step. It's not a set prayer like the Our Father or Apostle's Creed, rather it's preparing your heart and praying God's promises. So grateful to her for writing this!

Please buy or borrow this book, I have all ready read it and lent it to a friend.......talk about a closer walk with God, it has truly blessed me and I am deeper in His word than I have ever been....I will be reading it many times. She discusses how she herself had to 'Make' time for prayer in her own packed daily schedule.I have a sister-in-law just this week diagnosed with breast cancer, I will be sending her this book in hopes that it will help her through this new challenge she now faces.

A little more is said about thawing US-Cuba relations, but I wish they had tried to include more of the most recent changes...Going to Cuba tomorrow, so will plan on updating review with additional thoughts, but this omission is frustrating, considering it was published in Feb. of this year (2017), and was one of the reasons I waited to get this latest edition. Other than that, the information appears to pretty standard and straightforward.

Just got back from one week in Cuba. Got my useful info online (tripadvisor and lonely planet forum).This book was good for history, culture, etc, but not very helpful in planning the details. Partly I think it is because it is a big country and so it is very thin on most places. But I didn't even really get a clear picture of where to go (besides Havana) from it.I checked out a couple of other guidebooks from the library and was not impressed with those either.

Up to date, with a modern attitude toward traveling and appreciation of different cultures. Very thorough coverage of the country.

True to other comments - excellent read and resource but should be complimented with a travel book outling more of the places to stay and eat with ratings. That being said, Cuba appears to be in transition and no guide will keep up with all the changes.

Its important to find the newest publication when looking for a guide book in Cuba as its changing fast. This worked well. Have fun in cuba, stop at O'reily 304 for a few drinks when you are in Havana!

I've done a lot of traveling and had never used the National Geographic guides before, but I chose to this time because I wanted to most up-to-date source due to quickly changing circumstances for travelers from the United States. This book was very disappointing.It seems that the actual business of giving travel information was incidental to historical and cultural analysis. When we got to Cuba, we found that some places in Habana were not accessible by foot, for example, which fact would have been very useful to mention. The first several chapters cover history, as I have mentioned, but the actually crucial information, like booking accommodations and exchanging money, are relegated to the back few pages of the book and glossed over, quite like an afterthought.I'm not going to trust a National Geographic source for my travel needs in the future.

Dr. Leary doesn't disappoint! I purchased the audio version of this book in preparation for a trip to Vegas. I'm a big fan of audiobooks while crammed into a bus with wings eating pretzels and drinking shot size Coke. It takes my mind off the always "larger than me guy" who inevitably sits next to me that has personal hygiene issues. I looked around and of course, I was surrounded by college-aged small framed women. You could have fit two or three of those girls on one of these tiny seats. And, I'm guessing they smelt a hell of a lot better than jumbo who was sweating like a whore in church that was next to me Dr. Leary kept me entertained throughout the flights coming and going to Vegas. I'm glad I got the audio version because Dr. Leary narrated it. It drives me crazy when you buy an audiobook written by a star and they don't narrate their own work. It was like he was there. Suffering just like me in not so friendly skies. He did a great job of narration that kept me engaged in the book. I enjoyed his jabs at both parties. Dr. Leary doesn't pull any punches, and that is refreshing to me in this age of "political correctness." He also entertains with stories of other musicians and Hollywood types. Funny stuff indeed! I also enjoyed learning about his parents. Both of my folks are Irish immigrants, so I can relate.Being a big city cop for the last 23 years, I truly appreciated his recognition of Firefighters, Police, and Military. I hope you weren't taking a knee when you did that.Thanks for the laughs Dr. Leary! You made my trip to and from Sin City much more bearable. The rubber things on my earphones fell off and I was unable to retrieve them on the trip back. I toughed it out without the rubber things, it was worth the pain. Oh, by the way, I was only down $50.00. for the trip. Not too bad for being there for four days.Thanks again for the fun, entertaining and laugh out loud moments. Keep writing Dr. Leary!

VERY funny and insightful and painfully true all at the same time. I wish I had bought it on Audible so I could hear Denis Leary narrate the words, which I bet would have made it even funnier--but reading the book had me laughing out loud anyway. I might just download his narrated version anyway just for the hell of it. I didn't read his first book--yet--but now I will because we all need to laugh at ourselves and the state of American politics; Leary spares no one--Democrats and Republicans get blasted equally in these very entertaining and profane riffs on everything from politics, to the nature of fame, to the importance of staying grounded in family, friends and reality, and more.

I’m a sceptic when celebrities write books, but I always appreciated Denis Learys humor. Needless to say this book delivered tears, laughs and insightful narratives that I would have missed. Make America great again in my mind takes ALL of us to achieve... we are all so damn different in opinions, judgements, factions of life, etc....but we all bleed red. So, maybe just maybe we can all just have a bit more humor with one another.

This book has made me laugh out loud several times. Lots of wonderful self deprecating humor. He convinced me that we don’t suck.

This book is hysterical. Denis writes what we need to say. The world has changed. Listen to Doc Leary. Get your head on straight!

Pure Denis Leary fashion. So sarcastically funny it kept the pages turning! Need this comic relief to deal with the insanity going on in our country right now.

I have not finished this book yet but I am laughing through every page! The humor and writing does not disappoint. I may not agree with all of what he writes but he is entitled to his opinion and presents it in a convincing and extremely humorous way! Got to laugh yourself through life these days and this book helps that along. I highly recommend it!

Dr Leary's insane ability to mix satire with a healthy dose of Truth bombs makes this book absolutely GENIUS! We as Americans have forgotten how to laugh at ourselves! This book will remind you that Humilty, Humbleness and HUMANITY are forget virtues, all while giving a quick kick to the Funny bone! When I am ready to launch my kickstarter campaign, I will revisit this book and go through it very thoroughly.Don’t want to forget, the author is also bringing back the obscure term from the Jamie Foxx show broheim!
